Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google's authentication service.

User-Generated Content

This includes study schedules, notes, and any text you input into Flowmyx to generate study materials such as summaries, quizzes, and flashcards.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the service, including pages visited, features used, timestamps, device type, browser type, and IP address.

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. We do not directly store your credit card number or payment details. Paddle may share transaction-level information such as your subscription status and billing history with us.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Flowmyx service
• Generate AI-powered study materials based on your input
• Authenticate your identity and manage your account
• Process subscriptions and manage billing through Paddle
• Send transactional emails such as verification codes and account notifications
• Analyze usage patterns to improve features and user experience
• Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or security issues

When you use Flowmyx's AI features, your input text is sent to third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI or Anthropic) to generate study materials. We send only the minimum data necessary to produce results. We do not use your personal content to train AI models.

AI-generated content is stored in your account so you can access it later. You may delete your generated content at any time.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with the following categories of third parties, solely to operate the service:

• Paddle — payment processing and subscription management
• Firebase (Google Cloud) — authentication, database, and hosting infrastructure
• AI providers — to generate study materials from your input
• Resend — transactional email delivery

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Your data is stored on Firebase (Google Cloud) servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication tokens, and access controls to protect your information.

While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

We retain your account data and generated content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.

Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and service improvement.

Flowmyx uses essential cookies and local storage for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

Flowmyx is available to users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data

Your data may be processed and stored in countries outside of your own, including the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using Flowmyx, you consent to the transfer of your data to these jurisdictions.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through the service. Your continued use of Flowmyx after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
